SOURCES SOUGHT: Amphibious Assault Safety Craft

The Program Manager Infantry Combat Equipment (PM ICE), Marine Corps Systems Command
(MARCORSYSCOM), seeks industry input to identify potential sources for capabilities for the Amphibious Assault (AA) Safety Craft. The AA Safety Craft requirements are as follows: Aluminum hull with rigid foam or inflatable perimeter collar; Operable by a crew of two; Capable of embarking an 26 additional personnel (corpsman, safety swimmer, 24
passengers); Capable of operating in Sea State 3 conditions; Twin outboard power; Means of shrouding the propellers to protect personnel in the water; Minimum speed of 30 knots in Sea State 1; Range of at least 200 nautical miles when operated in Sea State 1; Collar cut outs for recovery of water casualties; Exterior hand holds near the collar cut outs and bow door for personnel in the water; Capable of transporting two casualties on litters; Climate controlled cabin with space for crew, corpsman and treatment of two litter-borne personnel; Front and rear cabin doors providing capability to remove litter-borne personnel; Bow door to facilitate loading and unloading of litter-borne personnel; Marine band VHF radio that provides access to all U.S and international marine VHF channels; GPS chart plotter for navigation; Depth sounder; Loud hailer with speaker, remote spotlight, Emergency Position Indicator Radio Beacon (EPIRB); Rear tow post for towing of disabled vessels; and Trailer capable of transporting the boat by tactica
